1. Are you excited about launching your new clothing line, Urban FLRT?
Excited is not quite the word I would use. I would say, “I am elated” about the launch of Urban FLRT.
2. What made you decide on naming your clothing line Urban FLRT?
After seeing the success of my first product line, Flirtatious-T, I decided I was ready to reach a larger market. Urban FLRT is a name I believe will open the doors to a larger market. The name embodies who I am. I love my urban lifestyle and being a person who loves to flirt!
3.How did you feel when you saw Whoopi Goldberg in one of your t-shirt?
Still to this day, I cannot explain the feeling that came over me when I saw Whoopi Goldberg wearing one of my t-shirts on the nationally hit show, “The View.” I was speechless.
4. Which designer gives you inspiration?
There is no one designer that I draw inspiration from, however, Tom Ford is one designer that I have admired over the years. He took a brand like Gucci, which was in crisis, and turned it back into a brand that is one of the most sought after brands around. Tom Ford is one designer I have respect for because of that.
5. What do we have to look forward to from you in the near future?
Once Urban FLRT reaches it’s maximum potential as a household brand similar to Baby Phat and Phat Farm, when they were at the top of their game, I plan on launching an Urban FLRT perfume line and underwear line for men.Info about CoreyFacts & Milestones
